Wipe your mouth, there is still a tiny bit of gossip around your lips.
Holiday Inn Express, Rotterdam Netherlands
Our final day was spent at the Hoek of Holland, a beach front set of restaurant with views of the pounding surf, the off-shore wind turbines, and the never-ending row of ships entering and leaving the harbour entrance of Rotterdam.
We enjoyed a relaxing lunch indoors with a view (it was a bit windy and chilly). The utensils and napkin were provided in a pouch with the cute phrase you see above. As as is found everywhere in the Netherlands, dogs are allowed inside and are given a bowl of water. We honestly cannot figure out why this is such an issue in Canada.
So, tonight was the last evening of the number. Our last dinner out in Rotterdam,. The phrase is correct; we use it to mean the last of something. It originates from a live album by Caravan.
A perfect weather day, regardless of the wind as we lost count of over 100 wind turbines. The ships coming into port were layered with shipping containers. From our distance the ships looked like they were totally on top of the water as they were too far away to distinguish their water line.
Today's blog phrase is one that will always bring a smile. It will be shared with the Macarena at next Ladies Night.
We enjoyed a super dinner at the O'Pazzo All Day Italian restaurant in Rotterdam. Finished with Gelato del giorno and Tiramisu and coffee. We say tasty - the Dutch say "Lekker".
