Wind mills in our living room.     [Jul 15, 2025]

Sunny and warm July in Edmonton.

It has been a good first half of July in Edmonton. The fruit bearing bushes and trees across the street in the ravine are showing great promise. We will be over there picking Saskatoon berries in the next day or so.

We needed to move grandma Zwaal's sewing machine by the living room window so we could get at cleaning the windows. The sewing machine came from the Netherlands when Lee's family emigrated to Canada in 1959. The window cleaning gave Lez a chance to clean her collection of wind mills. As she was putting them back, she remarked that it reminded her of Kinderdijk, an area south of Lekkerkerk where there is a collection of about 15 working windmills.
