Lez started the QOV National Sew Day event when she was still active in QOV. It is now held in many places across Canada on the same day.

The Campbell River event included a presentation by Lez and also a talk from a Canadian Armed Forces member. The sewing machines were whirring, the quilters were chatting and the goodies were being enjoyed. A great day.
