Lee had read about the Yukon Wildlife Reserve in the past and seen reference to it on National Geographic's TV show Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet. Now we went for a visit. We took the bus tour and spent 90 minutes being entertained by the bus driver/tour host and various species of wildlife.
In particular, their collection of Bison, Thin-horned Mountain Sheep and Mountain Goats are very impressive. We also had never been that close to Moose and Caribou.
It has been many years since we watched Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet and it all came back today as we toured the Yukon Wildlife Preserve.
